Xittel telecommunications Inc. has a highly qualified technical staff. The diversity of our experience allows sharing of information and assistance to meet your needs. The management team works with almost 84 employees who currently continue Xittel’s mission for the entire Province of Quebec and Canada. Our team, which is constantly growing, is made up of high caliber engineers, professional programmers, and administrative support personnel in two (2) of Trois-Rivières branches. In addition, we have an office located in Joliette, one in Prince Edward Island, in Outaouais, in Sherbooke and in Ontario. In addition to our huge experience in external networks and fibre optics development, we also have a deep experience in active equipments (optoelectronics, Ethernet, etc) telephony (PBX, Voice over IP, etc) but also in wireless networks such as radio communication, cellular telephony and microwaves networks.

Robert Proulx
President and CEO
Robert Proulx is the President and founder of Xittel telecommunications and Xit telecom. He worked on different national and international projects of engineering for some well-known firms such as Hydro-Quebec, Hydro-Quebec Research Institute, ADS Associés Lavalin, Soprin Experts-Conseils, IMS Experts-conseils, Cogeco Cable.

Robert Proulx obtained a diploma in engineering from "École Polytechnique de Montréal" in 1977 and a master’s degree of McGill University in 1981. He took part of studies and the realization of private projects using fibre optics in more than 30 school boards in Quebec and more than 30 municipalities.
He also contributed to the development of the RISQ’s fibre optics network, which connects all Quebec universities and colleges together. RISQ is an organisation which belongs to Quebec universities, offering bandwidth to college and universities of this province. Outside Quebec, he also prepared many preliminary studies for various initiatives in 8 of the 10 Canadian provinces and also in Northern USA and Europe.
Mr. Proulx took part of the feasibility study of Pan Arab fibre optics network to connect universities of 8 countries in the Arabic area of Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Lybia, Egypt, Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon.
He won the IWAY price of CANARIE in 2001 for his innovative contributions to the bandwidth technology progress. Mr Proulx also received the "Application d’une technologie" award for the development by Xit telecom of fibre optics private networks for the School Boards, Colleges, Universities and various governmental organisations of Canada. |

Jean-Pierre Beaumier
Vice-President Engineering and Operations
Mr. Beaumier has a 25 years background in telecommunication management. He was Vice-President of "Exploitation du Réseau d’informations scientifiques du Québec" (RISQ), Vice-President, Engineering and Management for Videotron telecommunication and Director, new markets development for Telebec.

Pierre Brochu
Director General
Mr. Brochu is a chartered accountant training and has held several major posts, including the management of CGI and the BCE group. In addition, he presided successfully for Télébec, a subsidiary of Bell Canada offering telecommunications services in the region. The new CEO is appointed specifically on aspects of general operations, administrative and financial matters. |

Sylvain Juteau
Vice-President Sales
Mr. Juteau has 20 years background as administrator and contractor. He is the founder of LINO Society, an Internet service provider in Val d’Or (Quebec), which was bought by Telebec, a Bell Canada subsidiary company. Mr Juteau also managed Infoteck Internet until Infoteck merged with Xittel telecommunications Inc.

Marcel Charette
Vice-President Administration
Mr. Charette has plud 30 years experience, be actively involved in business management at managerial or administrative accounting. He assumed management of manufacturing, personal services and consulting.
He servend successively as a consultant where he worked in consltation with managers of small business, controller, director-general and served as Vice-President Administration and Finance. |

Patrick Poirier
Vice-President External Development
Mr. Poirier has more than 20 years background in technologies development. Before joining the Gestion Xit team, he was the president of "La Bande Passante (Intermonde)" and "Applications des technologies de Systèmes" (ATS) until it merged with Xittel telecommunications in 2006. |

Francois Ménard
Director Technology Development
Mr. Ménard has 12 years background in telecommunications industry. He took part of more than 40 optical fibre and wireless private networks projects. Since 1998, he has written more than 10 articles on the telecommunication evolution for Cook Report on Internet and other publications. He is also a telecommunications regulatory expert with many interventions with the CRTC and FCC (USA) and also international telecommunications regulation.

Denis Ricard
Director of Operations
Mr. Ricard has more than 10 years background in administrative management, logistic, project management, geomantic, geography and programming. He has been involved in Canadian Forces since many years. He has a diploma in Environmental geography from UQTR and also programmer-analyst from Multihexa Trois-Rivières

Michel Henrichon
Director Engeneering and MES
Mr. Henrichon has more than 25 years background in engineering and monitoring projects such as financial and human resources assignment, management of works completion and also in legal, financial and provisioning. He is in charge of the ISO 9001-2000 quality standards. Michel Henrichon has an administration (accounting option) diploma from Sherbrooke University.
